Overview

This course meets NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Led Training (ILT) objectives, teaching basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely use a handgun; revolvers, semi-automatics, and other handguns. Completing this course will teach you lessons in safety, Gun handling, fundamentals of marksmanship, various firing positions, shooting several practical exercises, cleaning, storage, handgun sports and activities.

 

The NRA Instructor Training Courses consists of two parts:
Part one: Basic Instructor Training (Must be current within two-years.)
Part two: The specific discipline training e.g. CRSO, Rifle, Pistol, Home Firearms Safety, etc.
